The Dawn Patrol

Howard Hawks’ first sound film to be released was The Dawn Patrol (1930).  It was such a big hit that Warner Brothers remade the film in 1938, with Errol Flynn, using the same aerial footage as the original with Howard Hawks himself as one of the stunt pilots.
