Mans Favorite Sport novelization, released to cash in on Howard Hawks’ 1964 film.  It’s odd that a novel would have an author, with someone else, Pat Frank, credited with the story.  The movie credits include Pat Frank as the author of the story “The Girl That Almost Got Away.”
