Ball of Fire

Tully Marshall as Prof. Robinson in a publicity still for Ball of Fire (1942).  Tully was the newspaper editor in Howard Hawks’ Scarface (1932) and Uncle Lige in Sergeant York (1941).   Tully was born in Nevada City, California, and had 192 acting credits, mostly in the silent era, from 1914 to an uncredited bit in Hitler’s Madman (1943).
