James Caan, George Takei and Laura Devon in a scene from Red Line 7000 (1965).  George was born in Los Angeles and has 217 acting credits, from an uncredited voice in Godzilla Rises Again (1955), to a short now in post-production .  He is best known as Sulu on 52 episodes of Star Trek (1966-69).  His other notable credits include an episode of The Twilight Zone, three episodes of My Three Sons, two episodes of I Spy, The Green Berets, the first six Star Trek feature films, and episodes of Chico and the Man, Ironside, Marcus Welby MD, Vegas, Murder She Wrote, Miami Vice, a voice in Mulan, an episode of Will and Grace as himself, The Big Bang Theory, Entourage as himself, a voice on Bojack Horseman, five episodes of The Simpsons, and a voice in Kubo and the Two Strings.  Most of his credits are on tv.
